Elcie L. Anthony, 81 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Sunday May 26, 2013 at 9:14 AM. She was born August 27, 1931 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of the late Roy & Lois Mae (Screechfield) Small.
She worked at the Hamburger Shop & Mabel’s Toy Fair. She loved making afghans, doing word searches, and jigsaw puzzles. Her grandchildren and step grandchildren were the love of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Bobby W. Anthony; granddaughter: Mendy Trissel; 3 sisters, & 1 brother.
She is survived by her daughters & sons in law: Linda & Richard Wickersham of Hollansburg, & Bonnie & Randy Ross of Greenville; grandchildren & spouses: Scott & Leah Poling, Jason & Dawn Poling, Kory Poling, Mark & Christina Bingham; step grandchildren: Rhonda Rayburg, Amy Koch, & Stacy Ramey; great grandchildren: Zachary Poling, Elizabeth Poling, Hunter Poling, Marcus Bingham, Alexis Bingham, Faith Bingham, Billie Slade, Kyle Carlisle, Wyatt Trissel, Taylor Jo Trissel; Step great grandchild: Amanda Trissel; brother: Bud Small of New Orleans; sister: Shirley Bolen of Greenville; very special friend: JoAnna Bingham.
Services will be held on Wednesday May 29, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Terry Haworth officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Tri Village Rescue.
