Naomi K. Simmons (October 6, 2013)

Naomi K. Simmons, 87 of Versailles, Ohio passed away on Sunday October 6, 2013 at 8:55 PM at State of the Heart Hospice Care Center, Greenville, Ohio. She was born June 1, 1926 in Darke County, Ohio the daughter of the late Raymond Clinton & Esta Marie (Hathaway) Miller. She was a homemaker and helped farm and also worked at Collins Supermarket.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Sisters: Eileen Seaman, & Irene “Sis” Hindsley.

She is survived by her husband: Felix J. “Junior” Simmons of Versailles whom she married September 21, 1946; brother in law & sister in law: Larry D. & Carol Simmons of Bradford; nieces & nephews: Michelle (Sam) Holsapple of Versailles, Larry E. Simmons of Bradford, Rick (Virginia) Hindsley of Eldon, Iowa, Judy (John) Fecke of Terrebonne, Oregon, Ed Seaman of Inyokern, Ca., Beverly Jean Kurtz (Ed) Pangburn of Arkansas; great nieces: Paige & Brigette Holsapple of Versailles and other great nieces & nephews living out of state.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday October 10, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Greenlawn Cemetery, Versailles, Ohio with Pastor Dennis Wheeler officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Bailey Zechar Funeral Home Versailles, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Hospice Care Center.
