Alice Mae (Hunt) Garland, age 70, Greenville, Ohio passed away on Saturday April 26, 2014 at 4:10 AM at State of the Heart Hospice Care Center. She was born November 2, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of the late Early Clay & Grace Helen (Bohanan) Hunt. She was a homemaker and a member of Women of the Moose Lodge # 329 and American Legion Post # 140.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Grandson: CJ; brothers & sisters: Clarence Hunt, Jewel Hunt, Tom Hunt, Clarine Wargo, Pauline Lowery, & Earl Hunt.

She is survived by her husband: Lewis Garland of Greenville; children & spouses: Dan Chapman & Dawn Hope of Greenville, Mary Kniesly & Kenny Carter of Greenville, Ruthlee & Ed Rehmert of Greenville, Charles Chapman of Greenville, & Rusty & Chris Chapman of Powell, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters: Juanita Lowe of Dayton, & Leota Kroeger of Illinois; brother: Bob Hunt of Tennessee; close family friend: Karen Sue Schneider; numerous nieces, nephews & friends.

Family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday April 30, 2014 with a short service being held at 7:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Tim Hamilton officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Hospice
