Barbara was retired from the former Ullman Department Store of Greenville and prior had worked at the former Murphy Store, also of Greenville.
She was a member of the Ft. Jefferson United Methodist Church, the Women’s Group of the Church and the Greenville Art Guild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles J. Fisher, a stillborn infant Robert Fisher and brothers Ralph Jr. Hemmerly and David Mack Hemmerly.
Barbara is survived by sisters Dorothy Workman of Boulder City, Nevada and Maureen McCabe of Greenville; brother Howard E. Hemmerly of Greenville; nephews Steve Workman, Mark McCabe, Marty McCabe, Mitch McCabe and Jim Hemmerly; nieces Linda Hart, Susi Plaskey, Lisa Gibson, Miriam Wells-Metelko and Crystal Vania.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday August 2, 2014 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Doug Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the services in the funeral home.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to the Ft. Jefferson United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
