Martha E. Lloyd age 88, of Greenville, Ohio and formerly of DeRossett, Tennessee passed away at 5:35 A.M. on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at State of the Heart Hospice Care Center in Greenville. Martha was born February 12, 1926 in DeRossett, Tennessee to the late Stanton Douglas & Martha Eunice (Young) Templeton.
Martha is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Edith & Kenny Sleppy of Greenville and Sheila & Ralph Barga of Greenville; sons & daughters-in-law, John & Brenda Lloyd of Englewood, Raymond & Linda Lloyd of Suffolk, Virginia, Gary Lloyd of Greenville and Tom & Jodi Lloyd of Drums, Pennsylvania; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren; brothers & sisters-in-law, Billy & Dorothy Templeton of Springfield and Bud & Loretta Templeton of Old Monroe, Missouri; sisters-in-law, Janet Honious of New Lebanon and Phyllis Hammond of Englewood; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Martha was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Jr. Lloyd.
Martha was self-employed and was also a seamstress. She was a member of the Greenville Church of Christ.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, August 15, 2014 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Buddy Lloyd officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery in Brookville. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
