She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Jim & Donna DeMange of Versailles, Joe & Alice DeMange of Russia and Guy & Angela DeMange of Yorkshire, Ohio; daughters and sons in law, Jane & Marvin Pierron of Versailles, Mary & Bob Miller of Versailles, Denise & August Otte of Covington, Ohio, and Dorothy & Mike Litmer of Ft. Recovery, Ohio; 23 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brothers, Jerry & Lurene Monnin of Versailles, Denis & Georgie Monnin of Versailles, and Tom & Linda Monnin of Russia; sister, Sister Carmelita Monnin CPPS of Chile; brother in law Carl Barlage of Russia; brothers in law and sisters in law, Lawrence & Mary Lou DeMange of Sidney, Joann Large of Houston and Delores & Lester Beisner of Greenville; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Norbert F. DeMange whom she married on October 12, 1948; sister, Rita Barlage; and great grandchild, Jacob Pierron; brothers in law and sisters in law, Leslie Large, Rita DeMange, and Mary Catherine & John Gephart.
Patricia worked at the IGA’s in Russia and Versailles. She was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church where she taught CCD for many years and loved going to The Gathering Place in Russia. She made quilted lap robes for Right to Life, FISH, Veterans Hospital and veterans in the Russia area. She made noodles, angel food cakes and gallons of apple sauce for the area soup kitchens.
Due to the construction at St. Remy Catholic Church there will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, September 8, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles, Ohio, with Rev. Fr. Jim Simons, Rev. Fr. David Vincent and Rev. Fr. Gene Vonderhaar co-celebrants. Burial will follow in the St. Remy Catholic Church Cemetery, Russia, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 7, 2014 from 2-8 PM and on Monday from 9-10 AM at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, Ohio.
