Richard V. Johnson, 78, of Greenville, OH, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Heartland of Greenville.
He was born January 31, 1936 in Ft. Recovery OH, son of the late Floyd and Eva (Wright) T Johnson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys I. (Mills) Johnson who passed away February 5, 2012; brother, Jim Johnson.
Richard had worked at Fram of Greenville for over 30 years when he retired in 1985, and he also was a farmer.
He is survived by his children, Lesa (David) Trump of Rossburg and Julie Cockrell of New Madison; stepsons, John R. Lam, Jr. of Peachtree City, GA Tommy Dee (Tania) Lam of Bradenton, FL; grandchildren, Tommy Lam, Michael Lam, Justin, Lam, Jeremy Cheyne, Christopher Plessinger, Davian Trump, Braxten Trump and John R. Lam III; sisters, Janis (Adonis) Maxwell of FL and Jeanne (John) Horn of West Union; and a sister-in-law Connie Johnson of Coldwater.
Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, December 6 at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville,OH. Burial will follow in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, December 5 from 6 to 8 PM. The family request that memorial contributions be given to State of the Heart Hospice.
