Joseph is survived by his children, Jerry & Judy Goubeaux of Russia, James & Trudy Goubeaux of Russia, Joyce & George Freisthler of Anna, John & Heather Goubeaux of McCartyville, Jeff & Kim Goubeaux of Russia and Jo Ann & Jeff Benecke of Ridgeville Corners; 18 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Sr. Rosemary Goubeaux of Dayton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was also preceded in death by his wife, Juanita M. (Matthieu) Goubeaux on August 6, 2002 whom he married September 27, 1958; brother, Paul Goubeaux; and sisters, Zita Fullenkamp and Adeline Riethman.
Joseph was a farmer and formerly worked at Francis Schulze Manufacturing in Russia. He was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church in Russia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at St. Remy Catholic Church in Russia with Rev. Fr. Martin Fox celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Remy Cemetery in Russia. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Tuesday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles.
