Carol Ann Waldon passed away at the age of 78 on the 22nd day of January, 2019. She passed peacefully surrounded by family at her home in Greenville, where she resided most of her life. Carol was born in Brookville Ohio on December 5, 1941 to Clifford and Helen Long, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her three brothers, Dick, Doc, and Tom Long.
Carol retired early from BASF in Greenville in 1993, and enjoyed her 26-year retirement doing those things in life she loved best, including gardening, reading, bird-watching, puzzles, and spending time with her friends and family. She is survived by 5 children: Tamela Brown of Oklahoma, Pamela Werner of Oklahoma, Larry Waldon Jr. of Oklahoma, Patricia Neighbors of Greenville, and Clifford Waldon of Greenville. Carol is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Zachary funeral home on February 2nd at 1:00p pm.
