Edna was retired after 33 years as the Clerk of the Darke County Probate Court, a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Moose Lodge, both of Greenville and the Darke County Seniors. Also had worked as a volunteer at the Brethren Retirement Community and Wayne HealthCare and a couple of her favorite hobbies was playing cards and bowling.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Gerald Detrick; sister Marion Jones; brothers Edwin Rieck, Charles Rieck and Walter Rieck.
Edna is survived by her husband William Joseph Farrell of Greenville. They were married October 15, 2006. Also her children Barbara (Richard) Hocker, Jerry Detrick and Paul (Cathy) Detrick, all of Greenville and Steve (Susanne) Detrick of Winchester, Indiana; step children Thomas Farrell of Florida and Vicki (Marvin) Wilson of Springboro, Ohio; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister Lois Burek of Pennsylvania as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements by Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio.
