He was a self-employed painter and handyman and was a Veteran serving in the U.S. Army from 1980 until 1983. Rickey loved riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and was very active traveling around to various flea markets as a vendor. He also enjoyed spending time with family, friends and was an animal lover, particularly cats.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Thomas.
Rickey is survived by his son Josh (Deanna) Lipps of Spokane, Washington; granddaughters Adelyn and Penelope; siblings Teresa Green of Greenville, Steven Lipps of New Madison, Diana Miller of Vandalia, Greg Lipps of Greenville and Jason Lipps of New Madison as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 PM Friday February 15, 2019 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Todd Reish officiating and Full Military Honors offered by the Greenville Veteran’s Honor Guard. The family will receive friends on Friday from 3:00 PM until time of the services in the funeral home.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to the Disables American Veterans.
