Sandra Kay (Lewis) Klinsing, 72 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday January 29, 2019 at 7:55 PM at State of the Heart Care Center, Greenville, Ohio. She was born July 2, 1946 in Huntingdon, PA the daughter of the late Jesse E. & Marie (Grove) Lewis of Heston, PA.
She received a Bachelor’s Degree from Nyack College in New York and was an RN for 6 years; a missionary for 14 years; secretary at Forsyth Technical Community College in North Carolina for 11 years; she was a volunteer, a staff member and board member of the Pregnancy Help Center; she was currently the Secretary of the Board for Community Unity.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters: Janice Dick, & Judy McCrum; her brother: Steven Lewis.
She is survived by her husband: Rev. Doug Klinsing of Greenville whom she married June 11, 1971; her children & spouses: Janelle & Loren Groeneweg of Quito, Ecuador, Kristen & Jeff VonDeLinde of Kettering, Ohio, Erin & Dan Gildner of Perrysburg, Ohio; grandchildren: Caleb, Silas, Elena, Eden, & Elise; her brother & sister in law: Terry & Donna Lewis of Huntingdon, PA.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday February 10, 2019 at 4:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church 114 East Fourth Street, Greenville, Ohio with her brother in law Rev. David Klinsing officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Great Commission Fund of the Christian Missionary Alliance.
