Jerry Lee Williams age 84, of Greenville passed away at 6:38 AM on Sunday, December 6, 2020, at State of the Heart Hospice Care Center in Greenville.
Jerry was born April 23, 1936, in Corbin, Kentucky, to the late Raymond & Rhoda (Barton) Williams. In addition to his parents, Jerry was also preceded in death by his daughter, Arta Lee Williams; step daughter, Cindy Downey; brothers, Johnny and Donnie Williams; and sisters, Bernice Buchanan and Janice Parker.
Jerry is survived by his children, Linda & Jerry McQueen of Kentucky, Mary & Carl Emrick of Indiana and Carolyn & Bob Blakeley of Rossburg; step children, Dottie & Bill Lingle, Gloria & Bob Yohey and Chuck & Mary Downey; grandchildren, Miranda & Michael Singleton, Jared & Tabitha McQueen, Augustus McQueen, Marie Blakeley and Randy Blakeley; 8 step grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and 20 step great grandchildren; 2 step great great grandchildren; very special friend, Cindy Sease; brothers, Jimmy of Dayton, Ronnie of Tennessee, Benny of Tennessee, Roger of Tennessee and Danny of Florida; sister, Jacki of Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jerry did masonry work for over 40 years. He was a member of the Greenville Moose Lodge and enjoyed going to the Jamboree in New Paris.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 11, 2020, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Derek Specht officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
