Susan A. Mitchell-Dunevant, 72, of Greenville, passed away Saturday evening, December 14, 2013, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton.
She was born May 9, 1941 in Shelby County, daughter of the late August and Annie (Schnner) Freistuhler. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her second husband, John T. Mitchell in 1970; a sister, Sarah; and two brothers, Ed and John.
Susan is survived by her husband, Kenneth Dunevant; a daughter, Betty A. (Steve) Via of Greenville; her first husband, Gene Etzler; a sister, Mary Riethman of St. Mary's; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 18, at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Eric Knight officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5 p.m. till 7 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to The American Heart Association.
