Edna Marie Engelken, 98 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Sunday March 1, 2015 at 9:29 PM at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville, Ohio. She was born January 10, 1917 in Darke County, Ohio the daughter of the late Frank & Matilda (Grote) Rismiller. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John Lutheran Church; the Evangelical Lutheran Church Women; and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: John E. Engelken on July 6, 1984 whom she married September 20, 1946; her daughter: Teresa Staab; Brother: Elva Rismiller; sisters: Norma Campbell, & Frieda Hartzell.

She is survived by her daughter: Melissa Cremeans of Kettering; grandchildren: Lance Martin, Candy Sanders, Julie Freeman, & D.J. Staab; great grandchildren: Chandler Martin, Gemma Martin, Kyle Hammons, Sebastian Hammons, Anthony Sanders, Lexi Sanders, Chase Amos, Arianna Sanders, Gabi Staab, & Colton Staab.

Services will be held on Thursday March 5, 2015 at 2:00 PM at St. John Lutheran Church 7418 State Route 121 Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Patti Morelock officiating. Burial will follow in St John Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services on Thursday at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
