Bob is survived by his wife, Mary (Meyers) Grogean whom he married November 24, 1960; daughters & son-in-law, Michelle & Mark Dapore of Mason, Ohio and Amy Grogean of Greenville, Ohio; grandchildren, Alex Dapore, Corey Dapore and Marissa Dapore; great-grandchild, Wyatt Dapore; sister & brother-in-law, Patricia & Paul Francis of Versailles, Ohio; sister-in-law, Helen Grogean of Versailles, Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bob served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Bob was a welder and machinist at various tool shops. He was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles Vets Club and the Versailles Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2347.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles with Rev. Fr. James Simons celebrant. Burial will be at a later date in St. Valbert Cemetery in Versailles with military honors conducted by the Versailles Veteran’s Honor Guard.
