Susan E. Brewer (May 1, 2015)

Susan E. Brewer, age 60, of Bradford, Ohio, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 5:00 PM at her residence. She was born on March 28, 1955 in Montgomery County, Ohio, to the late Lewis & Nancy (Swisher) Purnhagen and Judy Purnhagen of Reelsville, IN.

She is survived by her husband, Greg Brewer of Bradford, Ohio, whom she married in 1984; sons and daughters in law, Lance & Melissa Hartzell of Ansonia and James & Tracy Brewer of Yorkshire; daughters and sons in law, Jodi & Shannon Fritz of New Madison and Johawnna & Jerry Lawrence of Versailles; grandchildren, Alexander, Issabella, Benjamin, William and Gabriella Hartzell, Meladi, Paige, Hannah, Cole and Zachary Brewer, Cheyenne, Calvin, Ty and Ryan Fritz, Jacob Brewer, Jordann (Kory) Bannon, Julia Lawrence and Jay Lawrence; brother and sister in law, Jim & Denise Purnhagen of Greenville; sisters and brothers in law, Becky & Don Vernon of Greenville and Claudia & Frank Gilmore of Greenville; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, as well as Judy’s family.

Susan was the Administrative Manager at Shrader Retreading/Craft Tire retiring in December of 2014 after serving for 41 years. She attended Trinity Wesleyan Church in Greenville and was a member of the Fort Greeneville Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, VFW Post 7262 Ladies Auxiliary and Moose Lodge. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, mushroom hunting, traveling and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

There will be a service held on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 4:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Elwood Stuart officiating. Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 1-4 PM at the funeral home.
