William is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, William Frederick “Fritz” Huber II and wife, Valerie of Johnstown, Ohio; daughter & son-in-law, Catharine A. Huber and husband, Timothy L. Cissner of Greenville, Ohio; and grandchildren, Aaron M. & Jayme Huber of Boston, Massachusetts, Matthew J. Huber of Conway, Arkansas, Emily C. Huber of Cincinnati, Ohio, William F. Huber III of Aurora, Illinois and John W. Hubbard of Greenville.
In addition to his parents, William was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara A. (Burkhardt) Huber; son –in-law, Steven C. Hubbard; sister, Catharine P. (Huber) Horn; and brother-in-law, Robert K. Horn.
William was a supervisor of equipment maintenance at Corning Glass where he retired with 30 years of service. William was a 1947 graduate of Greenville High School and attended the University of Kentucky.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Steve Peters officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to State of the Heart Hospice.
