He was a Veteran serving in the U.S. Army and retired from Benchmark Construction of Brookville, Ohio.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by children Franklin Hoff, Lowell Hoff Jr. and Phyllis Winn; brothers Jack Hoff, Carl Hoff Jr. and Jimmy Hoff; sisters Carolyn East and infant Barbara Jean Hoff.
Lowell is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Glenna L. (Valentine) Hoff of Arcanum. Also children Carl L. Hoff of Fayetteville, NC, Judy L. Kellar of Sarasota, FL, Mary L. Guthrie of Muncie, IN, Donna and Ken Smith of Greenville, Joy and Jeff Pritchard of Piqua and Paul Foureman of Toledo; blessed with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brothers Jacob A. (Maxine) Hoff of Fayetteville, NC, Donald E. (Joyce) Hoff of Beavercreek and Douglas A. Hoff and special friend Joyce Harter of Union City, Ohio; sisters Marilyn Wehrley of Greenville and Wanda Wolfe of North Ft. Myers, FL; sister in law Jeanne Hoff of West Manchester and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Friday November 13, 2015 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Tim Livingston officiating. Burial will follow in the Abbottsville Cemetery where Military Graveside Services will be conducted by the Greenville Veteran’s Honor Guard. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 P.M. until time of the services in the funeral home.
