He was a Veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force and retired in 2017 for ConAgra Foods in Troy, Ohio. He also had been employed as a Substitute Teacher in several of the schools in the Darke County area. Barry was a graduate of Lake High School and received his BS Degree from Bowling Green State University. He was an avid sports official in the Ohio and Indiana area, primarily officiating on the high school level in football, basketball, softball, baseball, track and volleyball. Also had some officiating experience on the collegiate level and assisted with the Special Olympics.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Marcia DiGuglielmo.
Barry is survived by his special partner Kristine K. Moore of Greenville, bother and sister-in-law Allan & Pam Wegman of Woodville, Ohio, sister and brother-in-law Diane & Bill Jaeck of Venice, Florida and 5 nieces.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday December 11, 2019 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with burial scheduled for 2:00 PM in the Dayton National VA Cemetery 4400 W. Third Street Dayton, Ohio. They family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
