Michael Keith Adams, Sr. (August 30, 2020)

Michael Keith Adams, Sr., 79, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield, Ohio.

He was born on October 16, 1940, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Joseph Elton and Helen Dorthy (Hutton) Adams.

In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by his sister, Sue Adams.

Keith was an avid outdoorsman. He loved tending to his yard and garden at his home and making sure it was in top-notch shape. Keith liked hunting arrowheads, going fishing, hiking, and coloring. Keith loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He enjoyed being with his grandchildren and attending their sporting events and other activities. Keith was an avid Ohio State Buckeye's fan and liked to watch NASCAR. Keith and his wife, Rosie, attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenville. He worked as a Pharmacy Clerk for over 40 years at Bonfiglio’s until they closed. He then went to work at Medicine and More in Greenville as a clerk until his passing.

Keith is survived by his wife, Rosie (Bonfiglio) Adams, whom he married on May 30, 1960; his children, Mike Adams of Greenville, Lisa Theard and Joshua Miller of Fairfield, and Jenni and Benjamin Schlater of Greenville; his grandchildren, Zachary Keith and Alexandria Barbay Theard of Fairfield, and Trevor Adam and Nicklaus David Brumbaugh of Greenville; his 5 step grandchildren; and his brother, Jan Adams.

A celebration of Keith’s life will take place at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus with Deacon Thomas Graber officiating.

Guests may visit with his family on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mask will be required, and social distancing will be expected of those who are attending Keith’s services.
