Fae B. Ross age 84 of New Madison, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Greenville. Fae was born May 10, 1926 in Mount Union, Pennsylvania, to the late Russell E. & Mary (Harper) Bard.
Fae was a homemaker. She was a member of Ft. Black Order of Eastern Star and Laroy Farst Post#245 of the American Legion Auxiliary for 61 years.
In addition to her parents, Fae is also preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Ross on November 14, 2005, whom she married December 7, 1946; grandson, Jeffrey Menger; and brother, James Bard.
Fae is survived by a son, Michael D. Ross of New Madison; daughters & sons-in-law, Joyce & Don Livingston of Tucson, Arizona and Linda & Jerry Oler of New Madison; grandchildren, Chad & Rhonda Oler of New Madison and Natalie & Chris Long of Delaware, Ohio; great grandchildren, Will, Nick, Joseph and Catherine Long; and brothers, Russell E. Bard of Lewistown, Pennsylvania and Tom Bard of Tucson, Arizona.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville, with Rev. Lowell Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Greenmound Cemetery in New Madison. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
