Mrs. Velma L. Waymire, age 87 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Saturday June 12, 2010 at 10:42 AM at Wayne Hospital, Greenville, Ohio. She was born April 27, 1923 in Columbus City, Indiana, the daughter of the late Clancy & Hannah (Walker) Hertsel. She was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her parents; 2 brother & 5 sisters.
She is survived by her husband: William R. Waymire of Greenville, Ohio; daughter & son in law: Beverly & Jack Quinn of Greenville, Ohio; Grandchildren: Brad Quinn, Christine Norris, Kimberly Quinn, and Eric Quinn; 21 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; brother: Lewis Hertsel of Columbus City, Indiana; sister: Vernagene Sheets of Columbus City, Indiana.
Services will be held on Wednesday June 16, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Don Avore II officiating. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday June 15, 2010 at the funeral home.
