Mary Margaret Brown age 87 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 3:50 P.M. on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Heartland of Greenville. Mary was born August 17, 1922 in Celina, Ohio, to the late Phillip E. & Mary Edwina (Howard) Hess.
Mary was a store clerk at the former G.C. Murphy Store in Greenville.
In addition to her parents, Mary is also preceded in death by her husband, Myron D. Brown; daughter, Edwina Sue Brown in infancy; grandson, Ted Brown; son-in-law, Gary Gilbert; and her brothers & sisters.
Mary is survived by a daughter, Tonna Gilbert of Greenville; a son & daughter-in-law, Robert D. & Janis Brown of Howell, Michigan; grandchildren, Torey DeRoso of Canton, Michigan, Michele & Rodney Collins of London, Ohio, Greg & Miranda Gilbert of Greenville, Kelly & Jim Ronald of Michigan, Robert & Angela Brown of Michigan, Tammy Brown of Michigan, David & Angela Brown of Florida and Buffy & Jeff Falzone of Michigan; 20 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville, with Pastor Samuel Hoeflich officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens in Greenville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Darke County Cancer Association.
