Cecile McCabe, 100 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Sunday November 20, 2011 at 5:58 AM at the Brethren Retirement Community, Greenville, Ohio. She was born September 25, 1911 in Darke County, Ohio the daughter of the late Sylvester & Emma (Miller) Harter. She worked at Village Flower Shop.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Husband: Warren McCabe; Brothers: Harry, Addison, & Earl Harter; Sisters: Laura Rush, Minnie Brinley, Elsie Teaford, & Ola Marker.

She is survived by her Son: Gerald McCabe of Greenville; Daughter: Myrna Carder of Englewood; 7 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandchild.

Services will be held on Wednesday November 23, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fort Jefferson, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday November 22, 2011 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to State of the Heart Hospice.
