Paul E. Quinn, age 81, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 6:40 PM at his residence. He was born on December 15, 1932 in Miami County, Ohio to the late Albert & Lucy (Swartz) Quinn.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nina (Corn) Quinn of Greenville whom he married on September 21, 1957; sons and daughters in law, Tim (Juanita) Quinn of Greenville, Ed (Debbie) Quinn of Greenville, Jeff (Malinda) Quinn of Greenville, Kevin (Michelle) Quinn of Versailles; daughter Pam Poston of Greenville; 4 grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 9 step great grandchildren; brothers Ebbert Quinn of Columbus, OH, John (Sharon) Quinn of New Weston and Jack (Beverly) Quinn of Greenville; sister, Mary Alice Wojciechowski of Edwall, Washington; sisters in law, Norma (Charles) Berk of Tipp City, Wanda (Jerry) Flayler of Tipp City and Sandy Kirkpatrick of Greenville; brothers in law, Ronnie (Linda) Corn of Tipp City, Steve Corn of Troy and Jerry Corn of Van Wert; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Mabel Wojciechowski.
Paul enjoyed gardening, the outdoors and mowing grass. He attended church and was a strong devoted Christian. He enjoyed harness racing where he road and was a trainer. He loved to laugh and most of all loved being a great husband, dad and grandpa.
There will be a service held on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Bill Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens, Greenville, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
