Richard was a former member of the Radio Controlled Airplane Club and St. Mary’s Catholic Church, both of Greenville.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister Linda J. Janson in 1985 and an Uncle John Krebs.
Survivors, in addition to his mother are his son Ian Richard Janson of Osgood; brother David W. (Melinda) Janson of Piqua; sister Carol Ann Janson of Versailles; nephews Joseph Robert Janson and Dustin Robert Janson; niece Rachel Janson and special friend Deana Jett.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday October 8, 2014 in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church 233 West Third Street Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Father John R. White celebrating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Church Cemetery.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to the State of the Heart Hospice of Darke County.
