Ann is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, Larry L. & Michelle Reed of Versailles, Craig S. & Sherri Reed of Versailles, Robert D. & Sheila Reed of Peebles, Douglas A. & Jana Reed of Jackson and David L. Nixon of Versailles; grandchildren, Amanda M. Reed & fiancé, Kevin Subler, Adam M. Reed, Austin M. Reed, Allison M. Reed, Baleigh E. Reed, Conner A. Reed, Stacey A. & Jordan Grogean, Brittany D. & Scott Weitzel, Charla A. & Jon Geiman, Sara E. Reed, Alan S. Reed, Darla A. Reed, Benjamin D. Reed, Caleb C. Reed and Madison L. Reed; great-grandchildren, Ashley H. Reed and Amelia L. Grogean; sister, Patsy Zinn of West Liberty; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ann was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl L. Reed on July 2, 1994 whom she married September 24, 1955; great-granddaughter, Jennifer M. Dillinger; and brothers, Harvey D. “Bud” Ditmer and Sylvester E. “Vessey” Ditmer.
Ann retired from Dola’s Beauty Salon in Versailles with over 30 years of service. Ann was a member of Webster United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women of the Church.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, July 1, 2016 at Webster United Methodist Church 8849 Seibt Road (Webster) Bradford with Pastor David Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Gettysburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at the Church.
