Ginny is survived by her daughter and son in law, Peggy & Karl Halley of Greenville; grandchildren, Kurtis (Krista) Halley of Versailles, Nick Halley and Miles Halley both of Greenville; daughter in law, Gwen Miles of New Madison, Ohio; sister, Marilyn Sue Shannon of Union City, IN; sisters in law, Ella Sue Shannon of Goldsboro, NC, and Margaret Miles of Greenville; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Miles; son, Dennis Miles; and brothers, Richard “Dick” Shannon and Robert “Bob” Shannon.
She was a 1955 graduate of East Side in Union City, Ohio. Ginny worked for Sheller Globe, Darke County Animal Shelter, Barbara Rethlake Dance studio and then retiring from Whirlpool. She loved doting on her grandsons, garage sales, going to the boat, camping and bowling.
There will be a private graveside service held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
