Gerry is survived by her husband, Robert Alspaugh of New Madison, Ohio, whom she married on June 21, 2002; daughter, Diane (Click) Stewart and husband John of Troy, Ohio; sons, Greg Hawk and wife Kathy of Vandalia, Ohio, and Scott Hawk and wife Robin of Tipp City, Ohio; grandchildren, Rachel Canan, Nick Canan, Michele (Rob) Aitken, David Hawk, Kimberly Hawk, Brandon Hawk and Joshua Hawk; as well as numerous great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine Elizabeth Hawk and sister, Judith Chenoweth.
Gerry retired from the United States Postal Service and also worked for the Covington Rescue Squad for many years. She was a big supporter and volunteer for the 4-H club but her passion was horses and loved going to horse shows with her husband.
There will be a private service held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville.
