Betty L. Wogoman, 95, of Greenville, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Greenville.
She was born on December 29, 1922 in Arcanum, to the late Carl and Alene (Eubank) Williams.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Wogoman in 1986; and her sister, Vesta Ruth Cannon.
Betty was a very active member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church and took an active role in spreading the word of God. She was always willing to share her love of God with those in nursing homes. She loved spending time with the residents, reading to them, giving them gifts, and visiting with them. She was an activity coordinator at Gades Nursing Home. Betty retired from Hobart Brothers in Troy, Ohio in 1985. Betty loved her family and enjoyed family get-togethers.
Betty is survived by her children, Sharon McDonald of Elmira, New York; Kerry Wogoman of Greenville; Karen Shaw of West Milton, Ohio; and Byron Wogoman, Sr. of Greenville; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren; her brother, Carl Williams, Jr. of Arcanum; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Betty's life will be held at 3 PM on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Tribute Funeral Homes, 1000 N. Broadway Street, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Doug Klinsing officiating. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery.
Family and friends may visit from 2 PM until the time of services at the funeral home.
