Damon Mykel Ahrens (November 4, 2020)

Damon Mykel Ahrens, 22, of Rossburg, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020.

He was born on February 6, 1998, in Coldwater, Ohio, to Tim Ahrens and Star (Hoening) Ahrens.

Damon was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Steven Hoening; and his paternal grandparents, Floyd and Beverly Ahrens.

Damon was a 2016 graduate of Ansonia High School and the Miami Valley Career Technical Center. He was a member of the National Technical Honor Society and held a 4.0 GPA and perfect attendance over the years. During high school, Damon began working for Weaver Eggs, and at the age of 17, began working for Ferguson Construction, where he currently was employed. Damon was highly respected at Ferguson and was known as a stellar carpenter.

Music meant everything to Damon. He enjoyed listening to music and even liked to play the guitar from time to time. Damon was known to take his portable radio everywhere so that he could listen to music. His passion for building things was shown through his carpentry work. Damon took great pride in his work. He was often referred to as a “Jack-of-all-Trades”. Damon loved his family and had a big heart for others. He was also known as the life-of-the-party and liked to enjoy the outdoors, playing corn hole, and can jam.

Damon is survived by his parents, Tim (Debbie Brookhart) Ahrens, and Star (Jeremy McNerney) Ahrens; his girlfriend, Ashley Dakin; his little man, Oliver Huston; his brothers, Cody (Wendy) Ahrens, David (Brianna) Scribner, Logan (Sierra Hess) Ahrens, and Zander Ahrens; his nephew, Dallas Hess; his maternal grandmother, Laura (Paul Summers) Young; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Guests may visit with the family on Sunday, November 8, 2020, from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.
