Mary Katherine “Kathy” Brickler, age 81 of New Madison, Ohio passed away at 9:40 AM Thursday November 12, 2020 at her son Brian’s home.
Kathy was born May 27, 1939 in Greenville, Ohio and the daughter of the late William and Opal (Hughes) Meiring.
She was retired from Neff Lettering of Greenville where she had been employed for 38 years as a Plant Manager. She enjoyed going to auctions and horse races and was a member of the United States Trotters Association and the Darke County Horseman’s Association. She also liked playing bingo, bowling, watching NASCAR and QVC Shopping Network. Kathy had a Very Special relationship with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a half-brother Frank Pittman, grandson Dustin Brickler and step-son Larry Hummel.
Kathy is survived by her husband John E. Brickler of New Madison. They were married February 18, 1963. Also children Kenny (Heather) Hofacker of Ontario, Canada, Rusty Hofacker of New Madison, Randy Hofacker of New Madison, Jeff Brickler of Union City, Indiana and Brian (Santena) Brickler of Greenville; step-daughter Bevy Stump Briggs of Naples, Florida as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Private Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to the Cancer Association of Darke County or the State of the Heart Care of Darke County.
