Earnest Lee Owens age 63 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 5:15 A.M. on Monday, October 26, 2009 at his residence. Earnest was born May 17, 1946 in Eagletown, Oklahoma, to the late Simon & Mable (Wimbley) Owens.
In addition to his parents; Earnest is also preceded in death by his brothers, Clyde and Tommy Owens; and sisters, Etta Mathenia, Shirley Owens and Elesta Owens.
Earnest is survived by his daughter, Annie Enis of Dayton; grandchildren, Brandon & Daphne Enis; brother, Jimmy Owens of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; and sisters, Parthenia & Charles Dillahunty of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mildred Cherry of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Barbara Owens of Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Elwood Stuart officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
