Patrick Z. Miller age 54 of Union City, Ohio passed away at 10:44 P.M. on Friday, October 23, 2009 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. Patrick was born November 25, 1954, in Greenville, Ohio, to Doris Jean (Rentz) Miller of Greenville and the late Marion Z. Miller.
Patrick worked in the maintenance department at Wal-Mart in Greenville. Patrick was a member of the Aero Modelers Association of Greenville.
In addition to his mother, Patrick is survived by his wife, Linda (Hunt) Miller, whom he married August 24, 1974. He is also survived by a son & daughter-in-law, Nathan Z. and Rachel Miller of Muncie, Indiana; daughter, Kristi Miller of Tipp City; grandchildren, Gabriel Z. Miller and Dylan Mayweatherly; mother, Marilyn Hubler of Arcanum; brother, Terry Cox of Greenville; sisters, Cathy Subler of Portland, Indiana, Pam Guy of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Penny Shimomura of Hawaii; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Denny Helton officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Darke County Cancer Association.
