Evaline was born in Butler Township on November 14, 1922, the daughter of Calvin and Laura (Oliver) Snyder. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Myers on March 28, 1981; sons, Gene Myers and Jack Myers; grandchildren, Lori Williams and Scot Myers; daughters in law, Teena Myers and Linda Myers; son in law, Marcus Payne and brothers, Leon Snyder, Lester Snyder and Thomas Snyder.
Evaline devoted her life to raising and loving her family. She is a member of EUM Church and was an avid quilter and member of the church quilting circle. She was employed and retired from the Brethren’s Home. She enjoyed working in her yard and caring for her flowers.
Evaline is survived by her children: sons and daughters in law, Ronald (Willowdean Bruckner) Myers of Arcanum, John (Judy) Myers of Piqua, Roger (Beth Weaver) Myers of Greenville, Richard (Peggy) Myers of Minooka, Illinois and Rita Myers of Arcanum: daughters and sons in law, Kay (Rick) Jones of Ansonia, Sue (Mark) Mills of Arcanum, Joan (Bruce) Ritz, Janet (Doug) Clemens and Mary (Bruce) Williams all of Greenville, Linda (Tom) Boyer of Versailles and Lisa (Kenny Rawls) Payne of Grove City: grandchildren; Jim (Sherry) Myers, Paul Myers, Laura Myers, Angie (Mark) Baker, Kim (Chris) Puckett, Deanna (Steve Hetzler) Jones, Darrell (Erin) Jones, Julie (Chuck) Edmonson, Jeff (Van) Mills, Joe Mills, Travis (Teresa Hutinson) Myers, Gregg Myers, Sue Kennedy, Amy (Mike) Gannon, Doug (Kara) Myers, Rob (Robin) Myers, Cary Myers, Colton Ritz, Ryan (Brenda) Clemens, Ben Clemens, Jodi (Ryan) Barnt, Emily Myers, Brian (Katie) Myers, Ty Payne, Jordan Payne and Allyson Payne; great grandchildren; Kate, Alex and Valerie Myers; Chris (Robyn), Tyler (Sara) and Carrie Baker; Casey and Carter Puckett; Amanda and Megan Jones; Jada, Jared, Jase, Jaxson,. There will be a service held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Sylvia McKibben officiating. Burial will follow in the Ithaca Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday, April 26, 2013 from 5-8 PM as well as Saturday morning from 9-10 at the funeral home. It is the wishes of the family that memorial contributions be given to State of the Heart Hospice or the charity of your choice.
