Ronald F. Hohler, 70, of Greenville, passed away Sunday morning, March 31, 2013, at his residence.
He was born September 4, 1942, in Dayton, son of the late Charles and Ruth (McKee) Hohler.
Ron was retired from Second National Bank. After retirement he had worked for the The Farmers State Bank. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in Vietnam. He was a past officer in the VFW Post 7262, Past Exulted Ruler of the Elk's Lodge, and a member of the Moose and Masonic Lodges.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Susan K. (Cole) Hohler, whom he married April 17, 1982; children, Michael (Donna) Hohler, Terri (John) Fish, Ben (Tracey) Cassel, and Betsy (Aaron) Ward; 8 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
Private services with full military honors by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard will be held Thursday at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery.
There will be no public visitation. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be given to the Darke County Humane Society.
