Ronald Edwin Overfield, 76, of Greenville passed away April 15, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton. Ronald was born on February 2, 1937 in North Lewisburg, Ohio to the late Alfred and Hazel (Russel) Overfield.
Ronald worked at Harvest Land in Eldorado.
In addition to his parents, Ronald is preceded in death by three brothers, Gene Overfield, Rick Overfield, and Jim Overfield.
Those left to cherish his memory include Patricia (Jenkins) Overfield of Groveland, Florida; a daughter, Barbara Ortega of Groveland, Florida; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Melody Overfield of New Madison and Byron and Melinda Overfield of Greenville; seven grandchildren, Amber and Alan Harsh, Jeff and Julie Overfield, Addie Overfield, Brent Overfield, Brooke Overfield, Amanda Ortega and Wyatt Ortega; five great grandchildren, Nora, Grace and Claire Harsh and Jaxen and Jace Overfield; a brother, Randy Overfield of Marysville; two sisters, Glenna Klotts of Urbana and Karen Dunham of Urbana.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Brethren Retirement Community Resident Aid Fund with donations being accepted at the funeral home. Services have been entrusted to Braund-Pope Funeral Home.
