Margaret “Judy” Sauter, age 84, of Greenville, Ohio, and formerly of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 10:25 PM at State of the Heart Hospice Care Center, Greenville, Ohio. She was born on May 30, 1930 in Springfield, Kentucky, to the late James Bascom & Bessie (Elliott) Bugg.
Judy is survived by her daughters and son in law, Michele & Ron Hoeksema of Ansonia, Ohio, and Robin Henderson of Salt Lake City, Utah; adopted daughter, Char & Mike Hone of Salt Lake City, Utah; grandchildren, Matthew, Joseph and William Henderson and Tyler, Benjamin and Hadlee Hoeksema; great grandchildren, Audrey, Scottie and Silas Henderson; granddogs, Wesley and Baxter; brother, J.B. Bugg of Laporte, Indiana; sisters, Louise Hopper of Hannah, Indiana, and Sue DeGroote of Laporte, Indiana; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Waldo Sauter whom she married on September 2, 1950; son in law, Bruce Henderson; and sisters, Mable Decker and Hazel Monroe.
She was a member of the Business of Professional Women’s and enjoyed going to the Soaring Eagle. She worked in the Admission Office at Central Michigan University.
There will be a memorial service held on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Ansonia United Methodist Church, 200 W. High Street, Ansonia, Ohio; with Pastor Ron Hoeksema officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
