Dan was a former 30 year employee of Lewisburg Container and a 1982 graduate of Greenville Senior High School. He was an avid golfer and a member of White Springs Golf Course and a member of the Greenville Elks Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Daniel F. Kagey Sr., and maternal grandparents Gay W. Martin and Delpha Bolyard.
Survivors in addition to his parents are his children Emily (Brad) McIntyre of Englewood, Ohio and Derek F. (Laura) Kagey of Troy, Ohio; granddaughter Everleigh McIntyre, sister Kelli Kagey of Cincinnati, paternal grandmother Carol Kagey of Greenville and numerous aunts and uncles.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday September 21, 2016 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to the Garst Museum.
