William "Bill" H. Ellison, Jr., 76, of Arcanum, died late Thursday evening, December 9, 2010 at Hospice Of Dayton. Mr. Ellison was born in Darke County on January 24, 1934, the son of the late William and Roxie Jane (Bashore) Ellison. Bill was the owner and operator of the former Ellison's Garage in Arcanum. He was preceded in death by his wife Kay (Larson) Ellison, who died September 2, 1993 and son Kelly Ellison. Bill is survived by Daughters Roxanne Asterman and husband Tim of Jacksonville, FL and Rose Hein and husband Jon of Greenville; Son Kerry Ellison and wife Kelly of Wayne Lakes; Daughter-in-Law Deb Dynes of Arcanum; 11 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; and Companion Donna Eberwein of Arcanum. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, Arcanum with Jon Hein officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Abbottsville Cemetery. The family will be receiving relatives and friends 1 hour before the service Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Hospice.
