Evelyn Kay Anthony, 72, of Greenville, passed away Tuesday afternoon, October 23, 2012 at her residence.
She was born March 18, 1940 in Rossburg, OH, daughter of the late Herman and Pauline (Houscher) Whittaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Nevin Whittaker and Donald Whittaker; and a sister, Doris Anthony.
She is survived by her children, Robert E., Jr. (Pam) Anthony of New Madison, Eileen (Tony) Page of Waller, TX, Terry Anthony of Ansonia, Roger Anthony of Ansonia, Roxann (Drew) Meadows of Ansonia, Diane (Eddie) Rubio of Waller, TX, and Rodney Anthony of Ansonia; 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Martha Lumpkin of Union City, Marion Whittaker of Greenville, Marceil Hecht of Greenville, Ralph Whittaker of Arcanum, Darrel Whittaker of Versailles, Roger Whittaker of Arcanum, Nancy Jones of Rossburg, Jeannie Unger of Troy, and Robert Whittaker of Tipp City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 29, at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with pastor Kyle Herrman officiating. Burial will follow in the Miami Memorial Park near Covington, OH.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5 p.m.
