Pascal Smith (October 17, 2012)

Pascal Smith, 93 a resident of Rest haven Nursing Home since 2009 passed away on Wednesday October 17, 2012 at 3:15 AM at Rest Haven. He was born December 3, 1918 in Pineville, Kentucky, the son of the late Luther & Laura (Sizemore) Smith. He retired from Conrail Railroad and also worked as a coal miner in Harlan, Kentucky.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife: Marie Smith; Son & daughter in law: Bill & Sharon Smith; daughter & son in law: Doris & Larry Crumrine; & numerous brothers & sisters.

He is survived by his grandchildren: Larry Crumrine Jr. & Lisa J. Crumrine of Greenville, Caron of Florida, & Laura; Special friend: Gloria Hodge; numerous nieces & nephews.

Services will be held on Saturday October 20, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Lowell Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to State of the Heart Hospice.
