Ronald James Ord, age 61, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 10:35 PM at his residence. He was born on May 6, 1951 in Pennsylvania to the late George D. & Marjorie D. (Cronin) Ord.He is survived by his wife Deidre (Suitts) Ord of Greenville; sons and daughters in law, Brad & Krystal Ord of Eaton, Ohio, Brian & Courtney Ord of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Justin & Cathy Ord of Greenville; daughter and son in law, Jamie & Chad Beisner of Grand Rapids, Michigan; step son, Cameron Parker Lucy of Greenville, step daughter, Victoria Elyse Lucy of Greenville; 8 grandchildren; brothers and sisters in law, Dennis & Ellen Ord of Greenville and George & Norine Ord of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister and brother in law, Carolyn & Richard Kinney of Wauseon, Ohio; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife, Melodie Jo Ord.
Ron worked as a salesman for Service Beauty Supply for 35 years and was a business owner before retiring. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and former member of the Elks, Knights of Columbus and enjoyed golfing.
There will be a private graveside service held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. There will be no public visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
