Thelma R. (Lambert) Barga, 96, of Rossburg, Ohio, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Versailles Health Care Center.
She was born October 28, 1917 in Darke County, Ohio, a daughter of the late William and Mary Lambert.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Waldo C. Barga; a son, Jerome “Jerry” Barga and two sisters.
Thelma is survived by one son, Fred (Rita) Barga of Rossburg, Ohio; three daughters, Carol (Kenneth) Payauys of Worthington, Ohio, Susan (Philip) Panzarella of Bonita Springs, Florida, and Dixie (Richard) Liette of Tipp City, Ohio. She is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Wilma Barga of Ft. Myers, Florida; 14 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Frenchtown, Ohio with Fr. Jim Simons officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in North Star, Ohio.
Friends may call Monday, January 20, 2014 from 5 – 7 PM at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville. The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be given to State of the Heart Hospice, 1350 N. Broadway, Greenville, Ohio 45331.
