Brian Scott Peters, age 34, of Greenville, OH, passed away, Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH.He was born Thursday, July 22, 1982 in Greenville, OH, a son of Beni (Penny) Peters and the late Linda Stebbins.
In addition to his mother, Brian was preceded in death by his brother, Jesse Lee Peters, maternal grandparents, Lee and Dolly Stebbins and his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Beatrice Peters.
Brian loved his children; they were the light of his life. He was an outdoors man who enjoyed camping, fishing, and four wheeling. He had many friends and enjoyed spending time with them. Brian loved his family and missed his mother and his brother, Jesse, dearly.
In addition to his father, Brian is survived by two children, Braxton and Kallee Peters of Greenville, OH; his fiancé, Jessica Emrick; two step sisters, Beth (Eric) Schultz of Versailles, OH and Lauren Ford of Ridgeville, IN; aunts and uncles, Carol (Jon) Bentley of Wabash, IN, Candy (Andy) Hoover of Greenville, OH, Diana (Rick) Hess of Greenville, OH, Sheila (Lester) Yoder, Tim (Terri) Stebbins, Edie Shuff, Marilyn Petty, and Lisa Stebbins all of Greenville, OH.; and numerous cousins, great aunts, great uncles, step niece and nephews and friends.
Family and friends may visit Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Oliver Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville, and again one hour prior to the service on Friday at the Church.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Lighthouse Christian Center in Greenville with Pastor Hershel Fee officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Oliver Floyd Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
