Connie was born on August 4, 1945 in Greenville, Ohio, to Herschel A. Bowers, Jr. and Mary Alice (Alexander) Bowers, who preceded her in death.
Connie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who loved being surrounded by her children and grandchildren, playing games and traveling with her friends and crafting beautiful crochet projects.
She is survived by sons, Jeff (Tina) Fourman of Lynn, Indiana, and Brent (Kim) Fourman of New Paris, Ohio; grandsons, Jeff Fourman (friend Kate) and Kyle Fourman; granddaughter, Kaitlin Fourman; step granddaughter, Brittany Wilson; great grandchildren, Ian, Skylar and Zaylee; sister, Jenny (Jim) McCombs of Greenville, Ohio; brother, Dave (Dixie) Bowers of Celina, Ohio; step mother, Norma Bowers of Tucson, Arizona; step brothers, Bill (Beth) VanKirk of Kansas City, Missouri, and Tim (Jaye) VanKirk of San Diego, California; step sister, Jill VanKirk of Tucson, Arizona; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a service held on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Danny Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the Abbottsville Cemetery, Darke County, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 5-8 PM at the funeral Home.
