Susie George (April 5, 2018)

Susie George, 67 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Thursday April 5, 2018 at 3:02 PM at State of the Heart Care Center. She was born February 5, 1951 in Winchester, Indiana the daughter of the late Donald D. & Esther M. (Knapp) Heltzel. She was a member of the Ladies of the Moose and The Eagles Women’s Auxiliary. She worked at Marcos Pizza for several years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents: Ben & Louise Cole; and her brother: Steven D. Heltzel.

She is survived by her sons: Barry T. (Shelley) Deem and his children: Makenna, Roman, & Savanna; Travis Petry and his children: Logan Petry, Destinee Macaulay, Cole Petry, & Dalton Petry; great granddaughters: Veda Louise, & Daysee Mae; sister in law: Patricia Heltzel.

Services will be held on Wednesday April 11, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Fountain Park Cemetery, Winchester, Indiana. Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday April 10, 2018 at the funeral home. A Lodge of sorrow will be conducted by the Ladies of the Moose on Tuesday at 6:45 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Care.
