Dr. David L. Snyder age 72, of Greenville passed away at 7:17 AM on Thursday, February 18, 2021, at State of the Heart Hospice Care Center in Greenville.
Dr. Snyder was born December 14, 1948, in Greenville to the late Thomas L. & Regina (House) Snyder. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Christine K. (Hart) Snyder on February 26, 2015, whom he married June 15, 1974.
Dr. Snyder is survived by his children, Daniel & Melissa Snyder of New Madison and John Snyder & Leah Lehman of Chicago, Illinois; grandchildren, Christopher Snyder and Elizabeth Snyder; brothers & sisters-in-law, Joe & Patty Snyder of Union City, Ohio and Rick & Trudy Snyder of New Madison; and sister, Nancy Snyder of Greenville.
Dr. Snyder along with his wife, Christine owned and operated Edgetown Veterinary Clinic in Greenville for 29 years.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 22, 2021, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Bill Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Greenmound Cemetery in New Madison. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
