Blaine Clark, 81, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 2:35 AM at his daughters residence in Zanesfield, Ohio. He was born on May 14, 1928 in Darke County, Ohio, to the late John and Della (Devilbiss) Clark.
Blaine worked as a Mail Carrier in Greenville and also worked at Greenville National Bank as a courier. Blaine loved to bowl, golf and play cards and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Clark whom he married in July of 1949; a son and daughter; grandson, Eric Clark; and 9 brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Elaine and Greg McKay of Zanesfield, Ohio; son and daughter in law, Alan and Carol Clark of Dayton, Ohio; grandchildren, Dan McKay, Joel McKay, Brian Clark and Ben Clark; brother, John Clark of Greenville, Ohio as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service held on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 2:30 PM at Abbottsville Cemetery, Darke County, Ohio, with Mr. Tim Miller officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville. There will be no public visitation. Memorial contributions can be given to the donor’s choice.
